| rings and things: a set of scrap rings and headpins |
Last week, I had enough time to dig out my metalwork bench from under piles of assorted necessaries in the garage. Yesterday I found the tools, supplies and whatnots and made time to enjoy an hour or so playing with flux, solder and flames. Above - the results, a set of soldered bits of metal - three rings, a tiny square toe ring (for tiny square toes) and a couple of copper headpins (for my torch is hot enough to melt copper wire).
And now I'm giddy with delight at having soldered metal.
It makes me happy :)
